# Platforms

> Language, operating systems, hardware and network requirements.

## Language

| What you install | Python |
| - | - |
| `zeroruntime-teleops` | 3.10 and above |
| `zeroruntime-teleops[lerobot]` | 3.12 and above |
| `zeroruntime-teleops[ros2]` | 3.12, the Python ROS 2 Jazzy runs on |

3.12 is the reference version.

## Operating systems

Linux, macOS and Windows.

## Distributions

* Ubuntu 20.04 LTS and above
* Debian 12
* Raspberry Pi OS Bookworm
* NVIDIA JetPack 6 on Jetson

## Hardware

### Hosts

| Host | Status |
| - | - |
| NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano | Tested |
| Arduino UNO Q | Tested |
| Raspberry Pi | Tested |
| x86\_64 Linux workstation | Supported |

A leader runs on any machine that can reach the internet. It never opens a
camera, and it does not need a physical arm.

### Robots

| Backend | Requires |
| - | - |
| [SO-101, through LeRobot](/robotics/integrations/lerobot/so101) | `lerobot` |
| [Any ROS 2 robot with joint topics](/robotics/integrations/ros2) | ROS 2 Jazzy |
| [Your own machine](/robotics/integrations/custom) | none |

<Note>
  Using a framework we do not ship an adapter for yet? Tell us at
  [the community](https://community.zeroruntime.ai/) and we are happy to
  build one for it. In the meantime, [a subclass of your own](/robotics/integrations/custom)
  works with any hardware today.
</Note>

### Cameras

USB Video Class, MJPEG, 640 by 480 at 30 fps per camera. Each camera is
published as its own track.

<Warning>
  Keep MJPEG when a host has more than one camera. Uncompressed video needs
  about 18 MB per second per camera, and two cameras exceed what a single
  USB 2.0 bus can carry.
</Warning>
